Thomas V. Lanna, MD, FACC

Dr. Lanna has expertise in Clinical, Non-Invasive, and Preventive Cardiology. He has Subspecialty training in Nuclear Cardiology. In addition, he performs non-invasive testing, including stress testing and echocardiogram services in both office and hospital settings.

Dr. Lanna completed his undergraduate degree at Providence College in Rhode Island and then trained at Brown University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Roger Williams Hospital / Brown University, where he was subsequently selected as a chief resident in internal medicine. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Brown University's combined program in Cardiovascular Disease. He currently has teaching responsibilities at Roger Williams Medical Center in the Internal Medicine Residency Program. He was a recipient of the "Teaching Attending of the Year" at Roger Williams Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Lanna is a Fellow of The American College of Cardiology and a member of the Rhode Island Medical Society.
 
He was voted "Top Doctor" as a cardiologist in Rhode Island Monthly magazine in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Dr. Lanna has office hours available in our Lincoln, Cranston, Westerly, and Johnston Offices. He has admitting privileges and performs consultations in addition to non-invasive cardiology procedures at Landmark Medical Center, The Miriam Hospital, Roger Williams Hospital, Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, and The Westerly Hospital.
